Xena star to join X-Files

For those mourning the death of Xena, Warrior Princess, dry your tears! She may be the talent to save the suffering sci-fi series The X-Files. Lucy Lawless has signed on to appear on several episodes of The X-Files, with the possibility of an extension. Details surrounding the character she'll play on the Fox series are being kept under wraps, but she will be in the season premiere on Nov. 4.

Eternal Darkness

Nintendo's answer to everyone who says the company only makes games for kids: Developed by second-party Silicon Knights, Eternal Darkness promises to be a mixture of survival horror titles like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, as well as old-fashioned adventure games like the Legend of Zelda series.

Take a look at this Quicktime clip of the game as President Denis Dyack explains the game's "sanity system" .Eternal Darkness is not just a survival horror game, he says. With the sanity system, they are in fact taking the opposite approach."
